Meet Karly. What began as a hobby quickly became a deeper passion for design, self expression, and the process of turning fabric into something wearable.
She’s always been drawn to helping others feel capable of creating too, making sewing approachable for beginners and empowering makers to bring their ideas to life.
Over time, she saw the limitations of traditional patterns. Bodies are unique. Fit is nuanced. Style is personal. And creating garments that truly reflect that often requires extra adjustment and compromise.
That perspective led to ALTR HOUSE. A platform built on the belief that sewing deserves modern tools that support individuality from the start, combining craft and technology to help makers create garments designed around their body and their vision.

ALTR HOUSE is a personal design studio that creates custom sewing patterns built to your exact measurements. Instead of selecting a standard size, you design garments at the pattern level so fit is built in from the start.
Most patterns are graded up or down from a base size. ALTR HOUSE generates patterns using your measurements, which means fewer adjustments and a better starting fit.
Absolutely. If you’re comfortable using a sewing pattern and following instructions, you’ll feel right at home here. You don’t need any drafting experience. Just a willingness to learn, create, and enjoy the process. We’re building ALTR HOUSE to support you every step of the way.
Yes. ALTR HOUSE is built to grow with intention. As we continue to refine and improve the platform, we’ll thoughtfully add new features and garments when they meet our standards for quality, fit, and reliability. We care deeply about making sure anything we release feels truly ready and worth your time.
Patterns are generated using a rules-based drafting system built for consistency and reliability. Each pattern must pass internal checks before it’s delivered to ensure it’s sew-ready.
You’ll enter your body measurements, and ALTR HOUSE generates a pattern specifically for you. Patterns are not resized from a standard chart and are created uniquely for each person.
ALTR HOUSE is designed for real bodies, not standard sizing. Measurements are validated for accuracy, and the system accounts for variations rather than forcing you into a preset size.
Yes. Once your measurements are saved, you can reuse or update them at any time through your Design Studio.
Sewing skill, fabric choice, and construction always matter, but ALTR HOUSE is built to significantly reduce the need for manual pattern adjustments.

We advise you to go through our questionnaire in order to be able to propose you style inspirations that suit you the best. You can also go directly to our virtual salon from the Personalization tab on the top left.
Patterns are delivered in common, sew-ready formats designed for home printing and projector use. Each export includes clear labeling and scale references.
Yes, it is. Your subscription gives you continued access to the Design Studio, all available patterns, and every update and improvement we roll out as ALTR HOUSE grows. We’re building this to get better over time, and your membership keeps you right there with us.
You can choose between a monthly or yearly subscription. Both plans provide full access to ALTR HOUSE
Absolutely. You can cancel whenever you’d like. If you choose to cancel, you’ll still have full access to ALTR HOUSE through the end of your current billing period. We’re not able to offer prorated refunds on annual plans.
