Taking accurate measurements is worth a few unhurried minutes. Use a flexible tape measure, wear close-fitting clothing if that helps you measure more consistently, and follow the measurement guidance provided in the studio.
Your measurements are saved in your Design Studio. You can return to them later instead of beginning from scratch each time you want to create another available pattern.

Before you cut fabric
Sew with your fabric and preferences in mind
A pattern is an important part of the project, but it is not the only part. Fabric choice, seam finish, ease preference, and the way you like a garment to feel will all influence the finished result.
Read the instructions that come with your pattern before cutting into your final fabric. When you are making a garment for the first time or trying a new fabric, sewing a test version can be a thoughtful way to learn how you want the final piece to fit and move.
